Our Story
Incorporated in 1990, Plus Five Pharmaceuticals began operations in April 1991 with Ascot Pharmacy at Ascot Shopping Centre in Bulawayo. Recognizing the need for locally produced, accessible medicines, we commissioned our commercial manufacturing plant in August 1996 following licensing by the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ).
Over the years, we systematically built a vertically integrated model. In 2003, we acquired Aqua Jets to secure prime industrial footprint in Harare, followed by the launch of Plus Five Healthcare Services in 2004 to establish large-scale wholesale operations. In 2006, we expanded regionally with Adroit Continental Holdings (ACH) in Botswana. Today, supported by a 130-member workforce, we develop and distribute critical medicines across urban, growth-point, and rural communities
